Project: Huntington Avenue

Designed as a mixed-use 220 unit apartment building in proximity to the Washington D.C. Metro, the Huntington Avenue project promotes urban style growth in a satellite metropolitan hub. Ten stories of one and two bedroom market-rate luxury apartments sit atop an embedded parking garage and 7,000 sq ft of ground floor retail. To best integrate the project into the surrounding context, stacked “two over two” condominiums occupy the back edge of the site, creating a transition into the neighborhood of single family detached style homes. The overall development exemplifies transit oriented design sitting adjacent to the existing Huntington Metro Station.
