The Shops at Riverside is a 674,416 sq. ft. enclosed shopping mall in Hackensack, New Jersey, that first opened in 1977. Catering to the surrounding affluent suburban areas, shoppers are drawn to the mall for its upscale offerings and restaurants. Interior and architecture project updates include a 248,000 sq. ft. addition of retail and dining space, repurposing of the former Saks Fifth Avenue space as a cinema and dining-entertainment complex, as well as a new concourse linking the north corridor to the south corridor.
