JP2 ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC HIRE OF ARCHITECT DAVID DYMOND
Baltimore, MD

JP2Architects + Interiors is pleased to announce the addition of architect David Dymond to the firm, a strategic hire that further strengthens JP2’s commitment to high-design, visionary environments and elevates the firm’s integrated approach to architecture, interiors, and experiential design.

With more than two decades of experience leading complex and transformative projects, Dymond brings a unique combination of design excellence, technical expertise, and collaborative leadership that aligns seamlessly with JP2’s mission to create purposeful, people-centered spaces.

Dymond is recognized for delivering outstanding projects through creative problem-solving, thoughtful project management, and a deep understanding of client needs. His expertise spans commercial office buildings, master planning, education, government, and highly customized “one-off” projects that demand both innovation and precision.

“David’s addition marks an exciting next chapter for JP2,” said John Hutch, a founding partner of the firm. “His ability to blend design vision with technical rigor and strategic thinking enhances our ability to deliver transformative spaces at the highest level. He brings a depth of experience and creative leadership that will continue to push our firm forward and solidify our position in high-design, future-focused environments.”

Dymond earned his Master of Architecture from Texas Tech University and, after internships in Texas and Boston, relocated to Baltimore in 2003 — a city he quickly embraced as home. Growing up in a military family and living throughout the United States and abroad, he draws upon a broad global perspective that informs both his design philosophy and collaborative approach.

“Good architecture is a true blend of art and science,” said Dymond. “It’s about understanding both the macro and micro scales of a project while responding thoughtfully to the goals of the client and the people who will ultimately experience the space. I’m excited to join a firm that values creativity, culture, and meaningful impact as deeply as JP2 does.”

Prior to founding Dymond, David served as Studio Director at an international architecture firm, where he led multidisciplinary teams and complex design initiatives. Beyond his professional work, he is deeply engaged in community-building efforts, cultural impact projects, and industry leadership organizations dedicated to advancing the built environment and giving back to the community.

This strategic addition reflects JP2’s continued growth and reinforces the firm’s dedication to delivering innovative, human-centered design solutions that inspire connection, creativity, and transformation.

As JP2 Architects continues to grow and embrace new opportunities, we are excited to share an important milestone in the development of our leadership team: the promotion of three exceptional individuals whose talent, dedication, and vision have profoundly shaped our success.

We are proud to announce the promotion of Tenille Jordan to Partner/Principal, marking a significant chapter in our firm’s story. In addition, we are excited to celebrate the promotions of Robert Pritchard and Vicki Myers to Associate Principals.

These promotions are not only a testament to the remarkable achievements of Tenille, Rob, and Vicki but also reflect JP2 Architects’ dedication to fostering talent, innovation, and leadership as we continue to build a firm that shapes thriving communities and leaves a lasting impact.

We look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead as we continue our commitment to design excellence. Please join us in celebrating these well-earned recognitions!
